After the angels, and before mankind, God made the jinn from fire without smoke, they lived on earth before mankind. Like humans, the jinn can also eat, sleep, marry, reproduce and be good or evil.
Satan was one of the jinn and not an angel, as angels are made free from sin and can never disobey God, there were and never will be fallen angels. The evil jinn are known as shayatin, devils, or demons. The gods of ancient times were in fact the jinn.
In Islamic theology Jinn are creatures, made from smokeless fire by Allah “God”, as humans were made of clay.
Similarities Between Jinn And Human
Similar to humans, jinn have free will allowing them to do as they choose, They are usually invisible to humans, but humans do appear clearly to jinn, as they can possess them. Jinn have the power to travel large distances at extreme speeds and are thought to live in remote areas, mountains, seas, trees, and the air, in their own communities just like humans.
How can a person conceal himself from the evil jinn when in the toilet?
Bismillah "In the name of Allah"
It is in the hadith that between the eyes of Satan and the private parts of man Bismillah is a barrier therefore, this dua should be recited.
When entering the toilet recite:
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْخُبْثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ
"O Allah. I seek refuge in You from the male female evil and Jinns".
When coming out of the toilet recite:
To be recited when having difficulty obtaining sleep.
"(O Allah) I seek forgiveness and pardon from You".
"All Praise be to Allah, who removed the difficulty from me and gave me ease (relief)".
At the time of difficulty when Sleeping
"O Allah the stars have gone far away and the eyes are rested. You are Alive and Infinite, You do not slumber nor does sleep overtake You. Oh Alive and the Everlasting One, grant me rest tonight and let my eyes sleep (close).
Upon having a nightmare, recite:
أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ غَضَبِهِ وَعِقَابِهِ وَشَرِّ
With the total words of Allah, I seek protection from His wrath, from His punishment and from the servants evil and from the whispers of Satan and I seek protection from (these) coming to me.
Upon having a good dream, recite:
"Alhamdulillah" and relate it to an intimate companion of understanding (So that the companion does not interpret the dream badly). If a person has a bad dream, then spit three times over the left shoulder and turn to the other side or stand up to perform Salaat reciting the following dua three times:
أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ وَمِنْ شَرِّ هَذِهِ
"I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan and from the evil of this dream. "The dream will not cause any harm. (Misjkat, Hisnul Hasin)
It is a great sin to conjure a false dream and narrate it.
Drinking Zam Zam water recite:
"O Allah, I seek beneficial knowledge, wide sustenance and cure from all ailments from You".
On awakening from sleep recite this dua:
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ
"All praise be to Allah, who gave us life after killing us (sleep is a form of death) and to Him will we be raised and returned".
"All Praise be to Allah, who raises the dead to life and Who is in control of everything".
WORDS OF WISDOM
The magic of a quote lies in that everyone can interpret it their own way. Its interpretation may provide the opportunity to reflect, to find inspiration or to be moved by the beauty of the message or by its depth. Meditate on these words of wisdom..
Confucius, great Chinese Philosopher, wrote this beautiful sentence back in 550 BC:
“We have two lives, and the second begins when we realize we only have one.”
What does this mean?
Confucius tries to make us realize we only have one life, and that it should not be forgotten… We won’t get another chance to start over again.
Our “first life” is that of insouciance. The second is that of awareness.
During the first one, we tend to think we have a lot of time ahead of us… enough time to do, love and undertake…
Then, one day, we open our eyes – maybe due to some difficult event we have to face – to see we are alive and have to savor every moment in life.
That is when we begin our second life. It is a genuine rebirth. That is when our outlook on the world begins to change. We discover what really matters and learn to make the most of each moment.
What does this mysterious word (Abracadabra), which everyone has already heard or pronounced mean?
The root of this magic formula.
During the Middle Ages (the time when Alchemists knew the Alphabet of Charms), this cabalistic formula – which is based on very ancient symbolism – was used to repel all kinds of illnesses and, more broadly, to attract the protection of the Higher Powers.
It was the time when talismans were created and engraved with consecrated signs so that the one carrying it would be protected from the various malevolent influences surrounding him or her.
An influential talisman
Of all the talismans and amulets, the Abracadabra was reputed to be the most effective, the most magical (due to the number of letters it holds and the way they combine between themselves).
Both positive and powerful, its mission is to send the negative forces to the abyss where nothing ever comes back from.
Arranging the letters in the form of a feminine triangle (with its point downwards) turns this triangle into the funnel in which its magical letters precipitate the negative forces captured through magnetization.
What’s more, the Hebraic words “abreg ad habra”, which mean “send your lightning bolt until death” reportedly lie at the root of the word…
